The Educational Collaborative

The Educational Collaborative (TheEC) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education and Professional Studies at Samford University. Its focus is the multiplicity of perspectives on education issues elicited from academicians of all disciplines as well as professionals outside academe. TheEC aims to provide a platform for a multifaceted and panoramic view of education to inform and serve as a resource for effective education.

Its audience and prospective authors consist of academicians of all disciplines, professionals outside academe interested in educational outcomes, and P-16 professionals in education, namely P-12 educators, counselors, librarians/media specialists, administrators, professional development providers, policy makers; and higher education instructional faculty of all disciplines, education information professionals, educational researchers, educational psychologists, and administrators.  

Manuscripts submitted for publication in TheEC should present research studies, descriptive narratives, essays, field reports, or other well documented discussions of topics of interest to the education profession. TheEC has a rolling submissions policy however its premier volume is scheduled for release in January/February 2010. Authors interested in having their manuscripts considered for launch of TheEC should submit manuscripts by December 15th, 2009.
